The camera for automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) is built directly into the bollard body: the opening is CNC-milled and precisely matched to the camera – no extra pole, no visible technology, no cables in sight. From the outside the bollard looks like our classic fixed version, but it recognises authorised vehicles fully automatically and controls your retractable bollards, gate or barrier – without remote control or switch.

Material & workmanship

How the access control works

When a vehicle approaches, the camera integrated in the bollard captures the number plate and compares it with the stored list in a fraction of a second. If the vehicle is authorised, everything runs fully automatically:

• The retractable bollard lowers and the vehicle drives in
• The traffic control (e.g. Loxone) then raises the bollard again automatically
• Your property or company premises are secured at all times – without remote control, key or phone

You decide which vehicles may pass: management is done conveniently via a web interface on PC, laptop or tablet – number plates can be added or removed at any time. Employees, suppliers or management: only authorised vehicles get in.

Ideal for driveways, company car parks, hotel entrances and residential complexes: authorised number plates are recognised and the entrance opens automatically – visitors and unauthorised vehicles stay outside.
