Automatic License Plate Recognition Camera – Safe and Convenient Access Control

Automatic licence plate recognition for retractable bollards, gates and barriers – the entrance opens by itself for your registered vehicles. No remote, no key, no phone: the camera reads the number plate, checks it against your list and releases the bollard. Direct from the manufacturer Braun Antriebe in Seevetal near Hamburg, Germany.

How licence plate recognition works at the bollard

1. A vehicle approaches the entrance and the camera captures the number plate.
2. If the plate is on your list, the camera signals the traffic control via a switching contact.
3. The retractable bollard lowers and the vehicle drives in.
4. After the vehicle has passed, the bollard rises again automatically – the entrance is closed.

You decide which vehicles may pass: add or delete plates in the web interface on a PC, laptop or tablet. Family, staff, suppliers or tenants – only registered vehicles get in.

The camera extends our traffic control. For a complete entrance combine:

Because there are no electronics inside the bollard – it runs on compressed air – there is nothing outdoors that frost, heavy rain or road salt can damage. Camera, control and compressor stay protected inside the house, garage or technical cabinet.
