Definitely yes! And in this case, double security was even a requirement of an insurance company. So what is hidden in a hall that must be protected so elaborately? Quite simply: a classic car garage with over 50 high-quality collector vehicles with a total value of several million euros.
The insurance requirements for such a fleet were predictably high. Because drives for rolling and sliding gates can be manipulated and only offer limited protection against theft. But even inexpensive standard bollards have a decisive disadvantage. They can be lowered under pressure. Often, just several stacked paving slabs are enough, and simple bollards give way.
Not so with the anti-terror bollards from Braun-Antriebe. Only they have a revolutionary lifting unit that absolutely reliably protects against unintended lowering and sabotage. Every time it is raised, a massive steel cylinder automatically locks into the lifting piston and is only unlocked again by controlled lowering. Even in the case of severe sabotage, such as cutting the pressure lines, the bollard no longer lowers.
This high level of security ultimately convinces the insurance company so much that it was able to lower the previously extremely high premiums.
