A beach bar made of wind-weathered wood amidst the dunes. By now, a world-famous hotspot for the upper class of Sylt and all those who want to belong.
From the parking lot near the road, a beautiful beach path leads up to the Sansibar. Usually full of people and, if one is not careful, also full of vehicles. Therefore, the access is now secured by a retractable V4A stainless steel bollard from Braun Antriebe. Flanked by two massive boulders, it serves as a bulwark against illegal parkers and overly comfortable individuals who would prefer to park directly at the Sansibar.
Of course, suppliers, taxis, and the private VIP shuttle can go directly to Sansibar. They either register via the intercom, lower the bollard with a chip card, or, as in the case of the VIP shuttle, carry a remote control. The bollard lowers and raises within seconds and is especially resistant to the harsh sea air and abundant sand. Additionally, induction loops with direction detection have been installed in the driveway to provide further convenience.
The installation went quickly and easily, as the entire system was already custom-made at the Braun Antriebe factory just outside Hamburg. All technology and electronics are waterproof. All cables are additionally protected in cable conduits and already cut to the required length.
A special eye-catcher is the cover plate of the bollard. It features the distinctive and widely known logo beyond the borders of Sylt, the two crossed sabers, milled in an elaborate process. This shows the flag and already represents the brand "Sansibar" at the parking lot.
